Library cards are free to residents in the service area of the city of Three Rivers, Park Township, Fabius Township and Lockport Township. Residency can be confirmed with a valid Michigan Driver’s License, a valid Michigan ID card or a photo ID together with a current paid property tax receipt. In absence of these items, suitable identification and proof of residence may be determined by library staff using at least two current paid receipts showing name and address.
Young adults and children under the age of eighteen (18) may obtain a temporary juvenile card. Applications for juvenile cards must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. A nonresident fee of $30.00 per household is charged annually for those outside the service area. A lost library card replacement fee is $2.00.
Fines are $.10 per library open day per book or audiobook. Video fines are $1.00 per day. The maximum fine per overdue item is $4.00.
