Library Book Club
The LIBRARY BOOK CLUB meets the second Wednesday of the month
(September-May) from 5:00-6:00pm in the Quiet Reading Room.
New members are always welcome.
T.B.C. (Teen Book Club)
Summer T.B.C. (TEEN BOOK
CLUB) meets
Wednesdays at 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the library community
room. Call
273-8666 to register.
Preschool Storytime During the school year Preschool Storytime for children ages 3-5
years meets on Tuesdays at 10:30-11:00. A caregiver must remain in the building. Storytime consists
of featured picture books, fingerplays, songs, crafts or activities for
children with longer attention spans. Please call 273-8666 to
register.
Wee Read Wee Read if for children
ages18-36 months and an accompanying adult caregiver. Storytime consists of
several books, fingerplays, songs or activities chosen for shorter attention
spans and greater activity level. Children of other ages may attend as long
as they are not disruptive. Please let staff know if other children will be
accompanying you. To register call 273-8666.
Young Adult Afternoon
Young Adult Afternoons are held every Sunday from
1:00-3:00 in the library community room. Join us for board games,
movies, snacks, and conversation.
Family Fun Night
Join us every Monday night from
6:00-7:00 for Family Fun Night, an evening of fun and
games in the Library Community Room. Many popular board games
will be set out for families to play and parents and children
are welcome to bring their own games. There will also be snacks. All ages are welcome to join in the
fun!
Internet Class INTERNET CLASSES for one or two
patrons are offered every Thursday evening from 7:00-8:00 and every Friday
from 2:00-3:00. Please call 273-8666 to sign up.
e-Books Three Rivers Public Library
patrons now have access to a collection of 11,000 electronic books, or
e-books, funded by the Access Michigan project at the Library of Michigan.
The Michigan Electronic Library (MEL) provides the gateway to the ebook
service. The MEL ebooks is a statewide collection available to all types of
libraries and their users at no charge. The collection contains classics in
literature and history, plus books on computers, careers, law, countries and
cultures, homework aids, general reference, internet and commerce, literary
criticism, mathematics, nursing, self help, sports, statistics, and
business. Patrons can stop by the library to create an account which will
allow access to the collection from any computer that connects to the
Internet whether in the library or at home.
