LITTLE WIGGLERS

Little Wigglers is a short program designed for our youngest patrons (age 0-3)

Caregivers interact with their children as we sing and bounce, hear rhymes and stories, and have fun!

Every Tuesday at 10:0 AM.

PRESCHOOL STORY HOUR

Story Hour is held every Tuesday at 10:30 AM.

Programs include stories, crafts, songs, rhymes and movement, with a focus on fun!

Each session also helps develop early literacy skills, which is what children know about reading and writing before they actually learn to read and write.

EARLY LITERACY SKILLS INCLUDE:

Letter Knowledge: each letter has a name and a sound

Phonological Awareness: sounds make up words

Vocabulary: words identify things

Print Awareness: words are read from left to right, and words tell a story

Print Motivation: the belief that books and reading are fun

Narrative Skills: the ability to describe things and tell stories.
