Little Wigglers
Tuesdays at 11am
Ages 0 to 2 years old
Little ones and their caregivers are invited to read, sing, move, play, and have fun! The program is designed specifically with little learners in mind.

Story Hour
Tuesdays at 10am
Ages 2 to 5 years old
Storytime for preschoolers and their caregivers! Books, songs, stories, movement, and fun come together for a super-charged half hour of Early Literacy learning.

Move & Groove
Wednesdays at 10am
First and third Wednesdays of the month starting in October
October 3rd and 17th, November 7th and 21st, December 5th and 19th
Best for 18 months and up
Get ready to boogie during this fun musical program! We’ll have shaky eggs, scarves, drumsticks, bubbles, and more as we dance, move, and learn together.

Programs for Elementary Kids (Grades K-5)

Creation Lab
Wednesdays at 4pm starting October 3rd
No program on Wednesday, October 31st or November 21st!

October 3rd: Wooden Toolboxes: Build your own handy caddy using wood glue, paint, and some pre-cut wooden pieces. Click here to register!
October 10th: Monster Pillows: No sew fleece pillows become fun monsters with the right decorations. You need to be able to tie knots to do this craft. Click here to register!
October 17th: String Art: Create your own string art with a foam pad, nails, and colored string. Click here to register!
October 24th: Box Robots: Use recycled materials to create a funky robot. Click here to register!
November 7th: Mosaic Tile Coasters: Ceramic tiles and some special cement make a fancy coaster. Click here to register!
November 14th: Fleece Hats: Get ready for winter with a simple fleece hat. Click here to register!
November 28th: Fairy Houses: Design a perfect house and garden for a fairy using natural materials. Click here to register!
December 5th: Tiny Ornaments: Use clay to create tiny adorable ornaments that we’ll bake and glaze right at the library for festive fun. Click here to register!
December 12th: Painted Banks: Start saving in style with a house-shaped wooden piggy bank you paint yourself. Click here to register!
December 19th: Embossed Foil Art: Create a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork with hot glue, tin foil, and sharpies. Click here to register!

Build it! Club
Thursdays at 4pm
October 4th, November 1st, and December 6th

Build something awesome with LEGOs! Your creation will be displayed at the library until next month’s club. LEGOs will be provided by the library; please leave your personal collection at home. Click here to register!

Make it Move!
Thursday, October 18th at 4pm
Try your hand at engineering and tinkering as we make Styrofoam boats, planes, and balloon cars. Can you make it move? Click here to register!

Balloon Olympics
Thursday, November 15th at 4pm

Family Fort Night
Monday, October 8th at 6pm
Nothing like a classic sheet fort to make reading more fun! We’ll make forts in the children’s room (using sheets and blankets and tables!) in which families are encouraged to read together. Click here to register!

Star Wars Day
Saturday, October 13th at 11am
Celebrate Star Wars Reads by making Star Wars Crafts, playing Star Wars games, and creating Star Wars stuff that you can wear. Click here to register!

Nailed it! Cake Pops Edition
Saturday, November 10th at 11am
Bring your family or friends and try to recreate classic cake pop designs! Click here to register!

Teddy Bear Sleepover
Monday, November 19th at 6pm
Bring a stuffed animal to Story Time, enjoy books and songs, and then leave your stuffed animal overnight at the library. You can pick up your friend the next morning (along with photos of what they did overnight!). Please make sure you bring a stuffed animal you feel ok leaving overnight – don’t bring your best buddy! Click here to register!

Gingerbread Houses
Saturday, December 8th at 11am
‘Tis the season to be jolly and nothing is jollier than a good old fashioned gingerbread house! “Gingerbread”, candy, and frosting will be provided to make this yummy holiday treat. Click here to register!

Gift-making Workshop
Monday, December 17th at 5-7pm
Don’t have the perfect gift for Mom, Dad, Grandpa and Grandma, or another special person in your life? Come use your creativity to make something for them! We’ll have several stations so you can make holiday presents for those you love. Click here to register!

Canvas String Art
October 2nd at 4pm
Thread on canvas makes simple shapes into colorful and unique art. Click here to register!

October 16th at 4pm
Call up your inner Dr. Frankenstein (or your inner Sid!) and make a super-unique toy from pieces of other toys. (They don’t have to be monstrous if you prefer cute!). Click here to register!

Arm Knitting
November 13th at 4pm
Make your own knitted infinity scarf with a ball of yarn, your arms, and some patience. No knitting experience required! Yarn will be provided (but if you want a specific color, you can bring your own, too). Click here to register!

Paper Rollercoasters
November 27th at 4pm
Using just paper, tape, and glue, we’ll be making spectacular towers for marbles to run. Click here to register!

Craft for a Cause
December 11th at 4pm
This is the season for giving so come make something to give away: toys and blankets for shelter dogs and other gifts for those in need. Click here to register!

Operation: ART! With Judson Stemaly
Once a month on Mondays at 4:30-6pm
Local art teacher, Judson Stemaly, is coming to the library to teach three special art classes!
October 22nd: Painting Party: Learn to mix and layer like a pro and create a fun one-of-a-kind painting of a monster, robot, or owl. Click here to register!
