Maker Space
Our goal is to promote exploration of new technology, helping participants gain practical skills and experience, while encouraging their creativity and "maker" abilities. We aim to foster collaboration, skill sharing, and social connections among participants.
Want to Use the Maker Space?
One-on-One: The Maker Space will be available by appointment for users who wish to have
more assistance with their project. 3D printing is available only by appointment or through direct
submission.

Laser Cutting
The Maker Space provides access to WeCreat's Vision 20W laser for cutting, engraving, and more. This FDA Class 1 laser includes an auto-lifting engraver, cutter, rotary system, and HD camera, capable of working with various materials to create diverse projects at TRPL.

3D Printing
Cost
The Maker Space currently offers patrons the use of our Mars Elegoo 4 Ultra for resin printing that enables the creation of highly complex models, objects, and more. All printed objects must be within the dimensions of the print surface of 9.8” x 8.2” x 8.2". Library staff can not resize projects unless specific dimensions are provided in the request. Each individual is allowed one print request at a time and may submit a new request every two weeks, either in person at the library or electronically.
The cost for 3D printing is 10 cents per gram with a minimum cost of $1.00.

Cricut
The Maker Space provides patrons access to Cricut machines, smart cutting devices which use digital files and software. These enable you to cut, draw, score, deboss and engrave various materials for your crafting projects.

Button Maker
The Maker Space provides access to a 1 inch button maker to print your own design or use our template and computers to create a button design.
The cost for each button is 25 cents.
